Roller banner initiative
It is almost a year since we launched a campaign to save old roller banners from landfill (or at least from cluttering up office cupboards). We’re aware of how many roller banners are produced but sometimes only used for a short time so our aim was to reuse or repurpose them.
The response from all our clients was brilliant. Over the course of the year, we collected a total of 346 old roller banners.
We managed to recondition a large number and reskinned many of them with new graphics. This works particularly well for our charity partners as it’s a cost-effective option for them and helps to raise the profile at events and exhibitions.
There were banners that were damaged therefore they couldn’t be reskinned. However, we managed to use parts of them and create new, working units.
We’re so pleased to have been able to do our bit to help reduce waste and we couldn’t have done it without our clients so a huge thank you for all your donations.
