The brief
Daysix approached us with a clear creative vision - to produce a set of premium metal badges that reflected the identity and values of Leading to Change. The designs, a flower and a heart, were distinctive, meaningful, and required a high-quality finish that would stand up to close inspection.
From the outset, it was clear that this project would demand precision at every stage, particularly in colour matching and finish.
The approach
Working closely with Daysix, we ensured that every detail of the specification was understood and executed flawlessly. The badges were produced using iron stamping, with a soft enamel finish that allowed for both durability and visual depth.
Key features included:
- Raised, polished borders for a crisp and tactile finish
- Gilt plated metal to enhance the premium look and feel
- Recessed background areas filled with carefully matched enamel colours
- Exact matching to Leading to Change’s three Pantone colours
- Two custom shapes – a flower and a heart, carefully reproduced from Daysix’s designs
- Lapel stud fittings with butterfly catches for secure wear
- Individually packaged in biodegradable bags, supporting sustainability goals
Attention to detail
One of the defining aspects of this project was our proactive approach to quality assurance. During production, we captured and shared imagery showing the enamel colours matched precisely to the Pantone references.
This wasn’t requested but it reflects how we work.
By providing this reassurance mid-production, we gave both Daysix and Leading to Change complete confidence that the final result would meet expectations, eliminating uncertainty and reinforcing trust.
